Colouring Step-by-Step


1. Consultation with client about colour and style.	2. Wet stretch test to analyse hair (see Wet Stretch Test Step-by-Step).	3. Use correct Organic Care Systems shampoo and treatment for the client at the backwash.

4. Mix colour accurately.	5. Apply colour on to either wet or towel-dried hair.	6. Cover hair with plastic cap and put client under moderate heat for 10 minutes. Then allow hair to develop for a further 25 minutes without heat.

7. Emulsify the colour and then rinse until water runs clear.	8. Shampoo and condition the hair with the correct Organic Care Systems products for the client. The conditioner should be left on for 5 minutes before rinsing.	9. Show client the improved condition of her hair by doing another wet stretch test.
		12. Happy client with healthy, natural looking hair.
10. Apply styling products.	11. Style hair.
