I just have to let you know how much I love your hair color. I suffer with multiple chemical sensitivities and had to stop coloring my hair several years ago when I became chemically sensitive from working in an office with new carpeting. My hair has always been my "thing" and having to turn partially gray and not be able to get it colored was quite upsetting for me. I was going to a high end salon in San Francisco at the time, and I asked them if I could bring in a box of hair color I found at Whole Foods and have it applied but they refused.
Then I moved to Boulder and saw an ad in the Boulder newspaper about an organic hair color that a hairdresser was using at a salon, so I dropped by one day to speak with her. She showed me your literature and I was very excited. Several weeks ago Mary Kay Gilson applied your hair color on my dull, gray lifeless hair and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. And the best part is that I didn't get sick from it. I belong to several environmental illness online chat groups. We share information about our illness and safe products for chemically sensitive people. I just sent them an email about your product and how much I love it. My hair hasn't been this shiny or bouncey since I was in high school. The color is so natural and for the first time since I started to color my hair about 8 years ago, my scalp didn't burn afterwards. And there is NO CHEMICAL SMELL.
I don't know how you did it, but I am so glad you developed this organic hair color and that I found your product. If there's anything I can do to help you get the word out, please let me know. There are so many chemically sensitive people like me out there who have had to change their lives, sometimes drastically, in order to live safely in this toxic world. Knowing I can now continue to color my hair and have it look fabulous means so much to me.
