Our time at Get Ahead of Hair Loss.
Organic Colour Systems proudly sponsored for a 2nd year running the ‘Get Ahead of Hair Loss’ event held in London on the 22nd September 2019. Get Ahead of Hair Loss (GAoHL) was created to address the need for a public educational event on common causes of hair loss and to raise the awareness that quite simply, hair loss matters to people.
This year’s event saw experts in hair science, trichology, dermatology and hairdressing come together to look at all types of hair loss, along with looking at both the psychological and physical effects of hair loss.
As hair loss affects 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women in their lifetime, Organic Colour Systems wanted to work alongside the Get Ahead of Hair Loss charity to create awareness and provide further information on products available to those suffering with hair thinning.
Organic Colour Systems showcased at the event their breakthrough product, Rep-Hair® Follicle Strengthening System, a four-step daily scalp and hair care regime. Featuring a strengthening Shampoo, nourishing Conditioner, Scalp Treatment and Natural Oral Supplement. The key active ingredient in the Rep-Hair® Follicle Strengthening System is Capixyl™, which has been scientifically proven to prevent and stop the hair loss process and stimulate hair growth. For more information on the science watch our video.
There are many hair products available to help give fullness or volume to the hair, which help to camouflage thinning. A few products actually help to strengthen the hair and aide in creating a healthier scalp environment. At the event Organic Colour Systems also spoke to visitors at the stand about keeping the hair in optimum condition and encouraging people to avoid products that clog up the scalp. As a result their was a lot of interest in the Soothe Plus range, designed specifically for highly sensitive or irritated scalps and the Control Styling range which are light, non-aerosol and do not contain the plastics that coat hair and block pores.
You hairdresser is the perfect person to speak to about your hair thinning issues or concerns but as hair loss occurs for a number of reasons, we would always recommend you contact your GP or professional tricologist.
